About the Opportunity

As a Retail Postage Sorter with Australia Post, you will play a vital role in connecting millions of Australians. Our mail sorting teams work tirelessly to ensure every delivery reaches its destination.

This is a casual position, with a loaded rate of $37.89 + 12% Superannuation. After an extensive training period of 6 weeks, Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 5:06 pm, your roster will include a mix of both scheduled and unscheduled shifts, Monday to Friday, between 8:45 a.m. and 5:06 p.m.

You will be responsible for manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace, sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes, and assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must also be able to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.

  • A loaded casual rate of $37.89 + 12% Superannuation.
  • An extensive training program for 6 weeks on commencement.
  • District Allowance up to $7,850.
