About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect, Design Lead, or Senior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of construction and design development, as well as excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

The primary focus of this role will be collaborating with our Melbourne team on various local projects. While the position will start as a remote role, it will transition to a hybrid arrangement once the Melbourne office opens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects under the guidance of Directors and Associates, overseeing all stages from design through to completion.
  • Coordinate consultants, manage project meetings, and provide mentorship within the team.
About You

We are looking for an experienced designer with a strong understanding of construction and design development, as well as excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years post-Graduate Architectural Experience.
  • Demonstrated high level of expertise in Revit.
  • Min 2 years' experience working on Australian projects with a strong understanding of construction methods and building codes.
  • Strong level of technical/construction knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with consultants and as part of a larger design team including clash detection; experience with Navisworks will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to proactively communicate with clients, consultants, and internal team members.
  • Experience and involvement in client and consultant interactions and management.
  • Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required.
  • Experience working in complex building typologies from sectors like Health, Labs, and Data Centres will be highly regarded.
  • Rendering (Enscape, Lumion) and Adobe skills will also be highly regarded.
