Job Title: Senior Financial Strategist

The Perigon Group specializes in the management of investments in Australian water rights, farmland, agribusiness, agricultural supply chain infrastructure, and private equity farmland operations. Established in 2007, the group has cultivated a range of institutional investment mandates since 2010.

This executive management position oversees the financial management of corporate and funds business. This includes all Fund Management Operations, Finance, Risk, and Procurement functions.

This role is primarily responsible for company-wide corporate financial and statutory reporting; corporate financial management; and resource management of fund accounting functions. The role supports the CEO in Board and Committee reporting. This position will assist in advancing the change agenda of the organization and play a key role in collaborating with senior management in implementing, monitoring, and reviewing organizational strategy.

This role requires the management and leadership of direct reports within the Finance team. The CFO will also indirectly oversee finance staff who report to the Investment Director. The role is an integral member of the executive leadership team which leads and manages the business. As such, the CFO is required to provide effective input, advice, and guidance into operational and strategic decision-making for the business.
