Crushing Operator Job Description

This is a challenging role that involves operating mobile crushers and assisting with the servicing and maintenance of fixed plant crushers.

  • Demonstrated experience in operating heavy machinery, particularly mobile crushers.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Sound knowledge of crushing equipment, including jaw crushers, cone crushers, and conveyors.
  • Ability to operate Cat 980 and WA600 Loaders safely and efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety in the workplace and have relevant qualifications, such as an OH&S Construction Card.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mobile crushers and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with the servicing and maintenance of fixed plant crushers.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • OH&S Construction Card.
  • HRWL – Confined Spaces and Working at Heights.
  • Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times.
