At ABS Kawana, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a wide range of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Fitting and balancing tyres to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Carrying out wheel alignments to maintain vehicle stability and balance.
  • Replacing brake components to ensure safe braking performance.
  • Performing vehicle servicing, including oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to maintain vehicle health and efficiency.
  • Diagnosing faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Repairing and replacing parts and components as required to maintain vehicle integrity.
  • Testing and adjusting parts and components following repair or replacement to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspecting, servicing, and repairing transmissions, suspension systems, drive and engine assemblies to maintain vehicle health and efficiency.
  • Reassembling engines and parts after repair to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
  • Minimum 2-3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence with no restrictions.

Remuneration:

The annual salary for this position will be between $69,000 and $76,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and overall aptitude. Superannuation contributions are not included in the annual salary.
