We are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Emergency Response Professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing critical support during emergency incidents, assisting with firefighting and rescue operations, and helping to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to make a positive impact in their community and have a passion for emergency services. As an Emergency Response Professional, you will be working closely with our team to provide effective prevention, preparation, response, and recovery activities across a range of emergency situations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also be required to commit to attending regular drill and training sessions, participating in ongoing skills acquisition and maintenance programs, and adhering to organisational health principles and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to emergency incidents and assist with firefighting and rescue operations.
- Develop and maintain competencies by actively participating in regular drills and other relevant training courses provided by our organisation.
- Maintain the required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Contribute to upkeep and hygiene of station facilities.
- Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies.
- Live or work within a reasonable distance of our auxiliary fire station.
- Australian Permanent Resident Status.
- Manual C Class driver's licence.
