We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Geriatrician to join our team at SA Health. As a key member of our Geriatric Medicine Service, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive geriatric medicine services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality geriatric medicine services to patients in our Geriatric Evaluation and Management Unit (GEM), Geriatric Rehabilitation ward, and other geriatric services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of geriatric medicine policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for our patients.
- Participate in teaching, training, and research activities to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
- Have appropriate Specialist Qualifications.
