We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team, providing expert care to paediatric patients.

  • Job Description: Deliver high-quality nursing care to paediatric patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Sedation Service Delivery: Coordinate timely and effective care interventions with the multidisciplinary team.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with Nurse Consultant and Anaesthetic Consultants to develop best-practice protocols.
    • Leadership: Provide clinical teaching and leadership to colleagues, students, and less experienced staff.
    • Service Planning: Assist in service planning, problem-solving, and change management to enhance sedation service delivery.
  • Requirements:
    • Nursing Qualifications: Registered (or eligible) Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible to hold) a current practicing certificate.
    • Certifications: Current Paediatric Life Support certificate or willingness to complete WCHN Paediatric Intermediate Life Support program.
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years post-registration experience with demonstrated clinical competence in the relevant area of nursing practice.
    • Skills: Proven leadership skills, including strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
