About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Director to join our Water Infrastructure team in Rockhampton. As a key member of our regional team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a wide range of infrastructure projects, from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
  • Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering on time and within budget for design projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across various sectors.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and RPEQ/CPEng registration.
  • A future leader with an interest in succession and long-term growth within a global organisation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively at both internal and external, client-facing levels, developing new client relationships and maintaining existing networks within the business.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and meeting delivery requirements.
  • Ability to and interest in guiding and mentoring junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.
