Job Title: Team Lead

We are on the hunt for a skilled professional to join our team at our restaurant in Cannon Hill.

 

About Us

We offer healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. Our quick-service restaurant provides tasty burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos filled with home-made guac and other goodies. You will work with yummy fresh ingredients that won't leave you smelling like you just came from work. Our restaurants are open day and night so you can be flexible and keep up your work, school and play.

 

What You Will Do

You will take pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile as a Team Lead. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations
  • Being a role model for the standards and behaviors consistent with our values and culture
  • Assisting in managing the team, including hiring, training, performance reviews and rostering
  • Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
  • Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers
  • Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
  • Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurant
  • Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety

  • Previous experience as a Team Lead or similar role
  • Passion for building a positive culture within the restaurant
  • Focus on exceptional customer service, working together, helping those in need and making our restaurant an enjoyable place to work
  • Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to both customers and colleagues
  • Ability to maintain a professional, well-groomed and neat appearance at all times
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing customer levels as required
  • Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment
