About Our Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to play a key role in shaping Victoria's urban planning landscape.
You will be responsible for providing expert advice on land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans, and PSPs. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients and contribute to the growth of Victoria Planning.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Regional and Urban/Town Planning or a related discipline, relevant experience in consultancy or government environment, proven ability to manage and develop team members, and proven track record of managing projects.

As an Associate Director, you will:
- Provide advanced statutory and strategic urban planning principles and methods;
- Achieve revenue targets through strong service delivery and project management;
- Support the Planning team on a day-to-day basis to ensure commercial viability;
- Identify opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration and innovation;
- Nurture individual staff members through effective coaching and mentoring;
- Contribute to a safe workplace and WHS policies and procedures;
- Other duties as required.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in Regional and Urban/Town Planning or a related discipline;
- Relevant experience in consultancy or government environment;
- Proven ability to manage and develop team members;
- Proven track record of managing projects.
