Cloud Engineering Specialist

This is a hands-on role ideal for seasoned professionals with deep expertise in virtualisation, cloud integration, container orchestration, networking and automation. We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Specialist to lead our modernization efforts.

  • We require the ability to design deploy and manage hybrid infrastructure integrating on-premises systems with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
  • A key aspect of this role will be to lead the migration of legacy systems to hybrid cloud architectures.
  • The successful candidate will have experience designing building and maintaining virtualized environments (VMware Hyper-V) and container platforms (Kubernetes OpenShift).
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define hybrid strategies secure architectures and cloud landing zones will be essential.
  • We are looking for someone who can apply DevOps and Agile practices to enhance reliability scalability and deployment efficiency of hybrid systems.
About This Role

This is a complex technically demanding position that requires strong technical skills and business acumen. As a Cloud Engineering Specialist you will play a critical role in shaping our cloud strategy and ensuring its successful implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Hybrid Infrastructure Management: Design deploy and manage hybrid infrastructure integrating on-premises systems with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
  • Legacy System Migration: Lead the migration of legacy systems to hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Virtualized Environment Management: Design build and maintain virtualized environments (VMware Hyper-V) and container platforms (Kubernetes OpenShift).

Requirements:

  • Expertise: Deep expertise in virtualisation cloud integration container orchestration networking and automation.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience leading complex technical projects.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and communication skills with ability to work across multiple teams.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with VMware Hyper-V Kubernetes OpenShift and cloud providers such as Azure and AWS.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
