Lead Educator Opportunity

An exciting chance to excel in a prestige/luxury cosmetics brand is now available for a highly motivated education makeup artist trainer to join the M.A.C Cosmetics Travel Retail education team as an Education Executive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and developing Makeup artists, as well as conducting in-classroom training programs & workshops virtually. The role reports directly to the Regional Education Manager and has a matrix reporting line to the Brand Area Sales & Operations Manager, requiring strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary Estimate: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This esteemed position requires fostering cooperative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will thrive in a results-focused collaborative environment and enjoy a practical, hands-on approach to work.

Responsibilities:

  • Beauty industry experience in teaching or training is a definite advantage.
  • Confident speaking in public and talking to groups of people.
  • Willing and able to teach in all classes, virtually, instore and in the classroom.
  • Energetic, proactive, and motivated to help others learn the craft of makeup artistry.
  • Buils trust through reliability, honesty, and authenticity.
  • Mentor, gives timely coaching and offers assignments that challenge and foster a person's skills in line with management directives and business needs.
  • Strong organisation / time management skills and good administration skills.
