Our team is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Costa Berry category. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and operating and maintaining generators.

About the Opportunity:

  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Diagnose and repair various equipment, including generators and irrigation system pumps.
  • Liaise with contractors to carry out fault finding and repair work.
  • Understand and repair low voltage electrical faults in automated irrigation systems.
  • Check and maintain solar systems.

About You:

  • Be physically capable and available to work outside of normal working hours during emergencies.
  • Hold a driver's license.
  • Have the ability to use hand tools and a multi-meter.
  • Have diagnostic abilities and be mechanically minded.
  • Have experience with low voltage electrical systems.
  • Be able to operate pump systems and diesel generators.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision or as part of a team.

How Will You Get Paid?

  • You will be paid an hourly rate in accordance with the role you will be undertaking.
  • Your hourly rate will be determined by the Costa Berries Enterprise Agreement, with pay rates higher than the Horticulture Award.
  • Weekly pay every Wednesday by bank transfer.
  • Payslips will be emailed to your nominated email address.
  • Superannuation will be paid in line with legislation.
