Asset Inspector

AusNet Services is seeking a skilled Asset Inspector to join our team in Lilydale. As an Asset Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our electricity distribution network.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed examinations of distribution and sub-transmission overhead line systems to identify any components or features that require maintenance.
- Report on any defects or issues found during inspections and provide recommendations for corrective action.
- Develop and maintain good customer relations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in mandatory and company-authorised training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to the Asset Inspection Manual and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Certificate II in Asset Inspection is mandatory.
- Demonstrated success in the role of Asset Inspector and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- VESI Mandatory Skills and Training requirements for an Asset Inspector.
- Adaptability to changing environments and working conditions.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
- Exposure to working closely with key internal customers and suppliers across all levels.
- Sufficient operational hands-on experience in the area of expertise to build and maintain credibility across stakeholder groups.
- High level of personal drive, including demonstrated success in delivering results against KPIs.
- Willingness to complete training courses as required.
