About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team at Elders Rural. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for irrigation equipment and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and develop technical drawings and plans for irrigation equipment and associated infrastructure
  • Convert manual sketches and designs into technical drawings using state-of-the-art software
  • Use SolidWorks software to generate technical drawings suitable for fabrication and installation
  • Provide drawings for inclusion in quotations and presentations to customers, suppliers, and staff
  • Maintain a library of designs and drawings in a user-friendly format on our computer server

About You

  • Previous experience in the use of SolidWorks or other design methods to generate technical drawings
  • Experience working with irrigation, pump stations, and water projects in agricultural, civil, or mining applications
  • Strong focus on installation planning, strategic thinking, innovative, analytical, and communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a creative mind
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative working environment
