Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Consultant to deliver the end-to-end payroll cycle, manage adjustments and periodic reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Australian payroll processing and administration, with a strong understanding of payroll legislation and taxation. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts in plain language.

Maintaining current knowledge of PAYG, state taxes, superannuation and evolving leave entitlements is essential for success in this role. Building strong internal partnerships and fostering continuous learning within the payroll team is also crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the fortnightly end-to-end payroll cycle
  • Manage adjustments (allowances, deductions, bulk payroll changes, exits, workers' compensation)
  • Periodic reconciliations and lodgements for payroll tax and superannuation
  • Maintain current knowledge of PAYG, state taxes, superannuation and evolving leave entitlements
