Job Description

The role of SAP Basis Consultant involves designing and implementing infrastructure architectures that support SAP systems, including S/4HANA and SAP ECC. This requires a strong background in infrastructure design and implementation, with expertise in both cloud and on-premises hybrid infrastructures.

As an SAP Basis Consultant, you will be responsible for developing hybrid infrastructure solutions that integrate cloud and on-premise environments, taking into account scalability and high availability. You will also perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP landscapes, including Transport management and environment setup.

Additionally, you will manage patching and upgrades for SAP components (SAP Kernel, NetWeaver, Support Packages, Enhancement Packages, including Security patches). You will conduct database administration and performance tuning to ensure efficient operation of SAP systems.

System monitoring and performance optimization strategies will also be implemented to enhance system reliability and efficiency. You will set up, configure, and manage SAP landscapes, including Development, Quality, and Production environments.

You will have the opportunity to design and deploy SAP environments on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and manage hybrid cloud setups effectively. Leveraging SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), or third-party cloud services will enable efficient infrastructure management.

Furthermore, you will provide security support with user identity management, including provisioning, access control, and role design. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will ensure alignment of infrastructure solutions with business objectives.
