About the Role:
The JPS Medical Recruitment team is seeking an experienced Paediatrician to join our client's hospital in a Staff Specialist role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Paediatrician to make a meaningful contribution to the health and wellbeing of the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting outpatient clinics to provide high-quality care to patients
- Providing emergency on-call services to ensure the hospital's paediatric department is always staffed and ready to respond to emergencies
- Providing Level 2 neonatal services to support the health and wellbeing of newborn babies
- Providing consultative services to the Emergency and other departments to ensure seamless care for patients
- Providing paediatric support to community health services to promote the health and wellbeing of children and families
- Contributing to Paediatric service direction and planning to ensure the hospital's paediatric department is always running smoothly and efficiently
- Supporting the development of regional paediatric outreach services to improve access to healthcare for children and families in rural and remote areas
- Being involved in the existing indigenous health clinics and refuges health clinics to support the health and wellbeing of vulnerable populations
Requirements:
- FRACP qualification
