Maritime Systems Team Lead

QinetiQ Limited is seeking a highly skilled Maritime Systems Team Lead to join our Advisory division in Canberra. As part of our support to Defence, you will lead a team of engineers and maritime specialists to deliver systems engineering support and operational and technical advice to a major Naval Program.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of engineers and maritime specialists to deliver systems engineering support and operational and technical advice to a major Naval Program.
- Support successful delivery of the program of work, for a major Naval Project.
- Develop and maintain key SE documents, including project management and support requirements.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to the team and stakeholders.
- Tertiary Education and appropriate professional qualifications in Marine Engineering, Maritime Systems, Electrical/Electronics Engineering and/or Naval Architecture.
- Well-developed technical writing skills and strong communication skills with a focus on stakeholder engagement, capability development and management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading technical teams.
- ADF or defence industry background.
- Previous experience with Defence capability programs or projects.
- Experience with Requirements Management and DOORS database.
