Senior Retail Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Retail Operations Manager to lead our retail team.

Job Overview:

The role of Senior Retail Operations Manager is to drive sales and profitability, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure operational excellence in our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise sales and profitability in one retail site
  • Lead and grow a team of paid employees and volunteers, focusing on their development and engagement
  • Embed a culture of extraordinary customer service across all store interactions
  • Ensure high standards of operational efficiency and visual merchandising in our stores
  • Model a safety-first culture and promote a positive work environment
  • Plan and manage the financial performance of the store, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Build and support the volunteer workforce, engaging with the local community and promoting our mission

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in senior retail management or a related field (not essential)
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding results in a complex and rewarding retail environment
  • High energy, hands-on approach with excellent leadership and management abilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid technical skills and experience using Workday HCM system (highly regarded)
