Inventory Control Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at CAF Rail Australia Pty Ltd in Canberra.
As a key member of our storeroom team, you will be responsible for conducting administrative and physical tasks to support the accurate and efficient operation of our storeroom.
You will report directly to our Procurement Manager and play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our inventory management system.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in record keeping and data entry, with strong administration skills and intermediate Excel/Word skills.
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team, you will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to tasks and strong initiative.
In this role, you will be required to maintain accurate records, review work orders, and ensure adherence to service level agreements with suppliers.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organised storeroom, ensuring a safe and clean working environment that complies with Australian health and safety, quality and environmental legislative requirements.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
This is a full-time position, working day shifts on a rotational basis. No overnight shifts are required.
