Senior Test Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Analyst to join our team within a Federal Government department, supporting critical systems. As a Senior Test Analyst, you will play a key role in planning and leading testing activities across all development phases.

  • Plan and lead testing activities, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide expert guidance on testing methodologies and tools, including Azure DevOps.
  • Design, maintain and execute test cases using various tools and techniques.
  • Test both commercial off-the-shelf and custom-built systems, including REST/SOAP web services and web applications.

In this role, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective testing strategies and contribute to test policy development. To succeed in this position, you must have strong analytical skills and be able to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing of commercial off-the-shelf and custom-built systems
  • Implementation of testing methodologies and tools
  • Development of test cases and plans
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years' experience in testing roles
  • Strong background in both Commercial Off-The-Shelf and custom-built systems
  • Hands-on experience with test planning, execution, and defect management tools - especially Azure DevOps
