Mobile Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to lead our teams in maintaining our brand-new fleet safely and efficiently. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company standards and OEM specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Safe and Efficient Operations: Oversee the maintenance of our fleet to ensure that all works are performed in a safe and efficient manner, in line with WHS legislation and company OH&S standards.
- Maintenance Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with planned and unplanned events, and that all machines operating within the project are maintained to company standards.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate maintenance teams to carry out all relevant maintenance activities and ensure that the fleet is maintained to a high standard.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Report to the project superintendent on day-to-day activities, breakdowns, labour requirements, work order control, and cost management.
- Defect Management: Record and address day-to-day defects and manage priorities to ensure that all work meets time and cost requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Focus on continuous improvement and lead teams to develop and implement solutions to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Safety Culture: Promote and maintain a positive safety culture within the team, ensuring that all team members are aware of and adhere to company safety standards.
- Experience: Significant demonstrated experience in open pit mining, with a strong background in maintenance and supervision.
- Qualifications: National accredited HD Mechanic/Heavy Plant trade (Certificate 3) and current Drivers Licence.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
