About the Role

Ventia is a leading infrastructure service provider in Australasia, with a rich history and a commitment to excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team and contribute to the delivery of our capital works projects.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This will involve working closely with engineering and commercial teams to ensure that all aspects of the project are managed effectively.

About the Project

The Boulder Creek Wind Farm is a major renewable energy project located in central Queensland. Ventia will be working with Principle Contractor DTI to design, plan, and construct a 275/33kv substation and 7km of 275kv transmission line. This project presents a unique opportunity for a skilled Construction Manager to make a significant contribution to the delivery of a major infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Lead and manage project teams to achieve project objectives
  • Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to ensure effective project management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Participate in contract partnering arrangements to ensure effective collaboration with clients and stakeholders

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering
  • Extensive experience in project management, with a focus on construction and infrastructure projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of client policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Current driver's license
