Job Opportunity Overview

This Veterinary Hospital, situated on the border of NSW and ACT, is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The hospital prides itself on being a friendly, inclusive and caring practice that encourages personal and professional development of their employees.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work amongst a large and busy team of experienced and qualified Veterinarians, Vet Nurses and Support Staff, practicing a high standard of care. They will receive exposure to an interesting and varied case load where nurses get to be very hands on, working closely within a team, whilst developing both professionally and personally.

Requirements

  1. A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification is required.
  2. At least 1 year's experience working as a Veterinary Nurse is necessary.
  3. The ability and availability to work a 4 day working week, with 1 weekend shift per month, is required.
  4. The ideal candidate will be energetic, empathetic, have a positive and professional attitude, and be focused on helping others.
  5. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to thrive in a busy and fast-paced environment, are essential.
