Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide assistance to clients in the Chermside area. This is a casual role, requiring flexibility and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Nursing or be studying Nursing and possess experience working with clients who have complex mental health conditions/ PTSD. Proven ability to work effectively with challenging behaviours is essential for this role.

This position involves providing Home care, social support and Community Access. The successful applicant will be required to work various shifts, including weekdays and weekends, averaging 4-6 hours per shift.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working with clients with challenging behaviours/ Complex mental health.
  • Current Australian Driver's License & Reliable Car.
  • Current NDIS Worker screening card and Blue card or willingness to obtain.
  • Current First Aid and CPR.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent desirable but NOT ESSENTIAL.
  • Be able to provide 2 current/recent work-related references.

A valid NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to obtain is required. A Car and Drivers Licence (preferred) and Work Authorisation: Australia (preferred) would be beneficial. Applicants must be willing to work on call, overtime and public holidays when required.
