About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will operate a waste collection vehicle in the Artarmon region, servicing multiple customer sites on a daily basis. You will work with a safe, modern, and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers. You will enjoy family-friendly hours, with no long haul, DIDO, or FIFO, as well as great pay rates, particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends.

Early starts (between 4-6am) and early finishes are also a part of this role. If you have your HR license, we can teach you the rest.

About You
  • Current HR license
  • Side arm, rear lift, RORO, hook lift, or front lift truck experience is preferred, but full training will be provided
  • Ability to structure runs and have an excellent rapport with customers
  • Commitment to JJ's Waste values and willingness to embrace workplace diversity
  • Dedication to achieving high standards of safety compliance
  • Ability to provide your last 5 years' traffic history at interview stage
  • Well-developed people and relationship skills
