About the Role
Ventia Pty Limited is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our Living Services team working on the Square Kilometre Array Project (SKAO) in South Murchinson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing integrated facilities management, including preventative and reactive maintenance works on crib rooms, commercial kitchens, and associated buildings on a 200-person camp.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure they operate efficiently and prevent breakdowns.
- Install new refrigeration units, including commercial fridges, freezers, and ice machines.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including compressors, evaporators, and thermostats.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or failures of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Address refrigeration-related concerns or requests from camp residents or other stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
- Trade Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- WA Driver's Licence – Highly regarded.
- Physically Fit and energetic.
- Open and clear communication within a team environment.
