About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at LiveBig. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to individuals with disability, including those on an NDIS plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement person-centred, evidence-informed positive behaviour support plans in line with the individual's goals and NDIS plans.
  • Conduct physical and interpersonal assessments of individuals in various environments using functional assessment tools.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to support engagement, emotional regulation, challenging behaviours, and social skills.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

About You
  • Tertiary level education in a relevant human services discipline.
  • Registration with the NDIS Commission to carry out PBS work.
  • Experience in facilitating meaningful outcomes for clients and families.
  • Some experience in positive behavioural support work.
