About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader Security Systems to join our Community Safety team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and monitoring security systems for the City, providing technical advice and practical support to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to ensure team members meet the required outcomes of their role.
  • Installation of security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, GPS, and body-worn cameras.
  • Maintain, monitor, audit, and upgrade the City's security systems to ensure they continue to perform to a high standard.
  • Coordinate training of CCTV operators associated with the City's live CCTV monitoring and dispatch programs.
  • Provide reports and CCTV footage to WA Police and City management as required, showing incidents of crime and other activity.
  • Manage service area documentation and data use and storage, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
About You

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired:

  • Qualification in a relevant field of study, such as Cert III in Security Equipment.
  • WA Security Consultant Licence.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, including project management and leadership.
  • Experience with installation and management of corporate security systems and equipment.
  • Knowledge of modern cyber security practices and systems.
  • Highly-developed customer service and communication skills.
