Datacom, a leading supplier of Information Technology professional services in Australia and New Zealand, seeks a dynamic Director of Data Centres to lead the management, growth, and sales strategy of its data centre business.

About the Role

In this senior leadership position, you will oversee daily operations, ensure top-tier performance and security, and drive revenue growth through strategic client engagement and service expansion. You will collaborate with the sales team to attract new clients, negotiate contracts, and optimise service offerings. This role has an International Sales Focus and responsibility for the entire Trans-Tasman Data Centre Operations for Datacom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives to drive business growth and success.
  • Lead the management and mentoring of people and teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Manage financial aspects, including cost estimation and budget tracking and reporting, to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements to deliver desired outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding budgeted sales and profit objectives.
  • Demonstrated executive leadership experience, with a strong ability to drive sales and business development.
  • Financial management experience, including cost estimation and budget tracking and reporting.
  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
