Event Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering diverse tourism and community events from concept to completion.

  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment rental
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and community groups to ensure seamless event execution
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and attract attendees
  • Monitor event finances and report on expenses and revenue

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field, and proven experience in planning and delivering successful events. They should also possess strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as a creative and inclusive approach to tourism and community engagement.
