Risk Management Specialist

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for risk management? We're seeking an Organisational Risk Officer to play a pivotal role in fostering a proactive risk culture and building risk management capabilities across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Risk Management Framework, ensuring alignment with corporate and community risk objectives.
- Identify and assess risks across all divisions, implementing control strategies to mitigate potential and actual risks.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management and emergency planning principles.
- Lead the development, monitoring, and review of the Risk Register and Business Continuity Plan.
- Contribute to strategic and operational risk reporting, supporting senior leadership.
- Coordinate emergency management arrangements and provide support during emergencies.
- Collaborate with internal auditors to support the annual internal audit program.
- Promote best practice risk management principles and offer expert advice to staff and stakeholders.
- Qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Strong knowledge of risk management legislation and standards, with experience in developing and implementing risk strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and competing priorities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
