Job Title: Information Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Information Security Specialist, responsible for safeguarding our organization's digital assets from potential threats. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in identity and access management, cloud security, and security operations.

This position requires hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools and policies, as well as expertise in configuring and maintaining secure web gateways and other secure access solutions.

  • Understanding of PAM tools and policies is essential.
  • The ability to configure and maintain Netskope Secure Web Gateway and other secure access solutions is necessary.
  • Assistance in implementing and managing security features available under Microsoft Purview E5 licence, including compliance, Insider Risk, and DLP, is also required.
  • Working with BigID or similar data discovery/classification tools to support data governance initiatives is an added responsibility.
  • Collaboration with the Security Operations team to monitor and respond to threats is critical.
  • Providing basic support and troubleshooting for firewalls, DLP, and email security tools is an essential part of this role.
  • Participation in internal audits and compliance assessments as needed is also expected.
  • Contribution to the development and updating of security policies and technical documentation is necessary.
Requirements

Key requirements include:

  • 4-5+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or infrastructure security roles.
  • Hands-on experience or good knowledge with PAM solutions, such as CyberArk or BeyondTrust, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Netskope, Microsoft Purview, and BigID is also required.
  • Understanding of security operations processes, incident handling, and SIEM tools is essential.
  • Working knowledge of DLP, firewalls, and email security platforms, such as Microsoft Defender or Proofpoint, is necessary.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills are required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to evolving security challenges is critical.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
