Life Skills Coaching Role

Are you seeking a fulfilling and flexible casual position that leverages your skills and accommodates school hours work commitments?

We have an urgent need to fill this role to support existing clients in the region.

Key aspects of this role:

  • Work hours are generally outside normal school hours.
  • Sessions are 2 hours conducted in the student's home, which may include travel time.
  • Students enrol for either 6 or 12 months, providing reliable and regular work.
  • You will assist students to develop Life Skills in Literacy and Numeracy to facilitate their transition into employment or tertiary studies.
  • All students possess some level of Special Needs covered by your qualification.

You will provide coaching in literacy and numeracy covering school English and Maths using special needs teaching techniques. We supply tools with in-class materials for students to practice concepts and automatically mark work.

As a Life Skills Coach, you can accept jobs for as few or as many students that fit your schedule. You will need access to a vehicle for travel to student homes, and we reimburse at ATO rate for km travelled.

Due to the demanding nature of one-to-one Special Needs coaching, we require you to demonstrate prior experience working in a support role with persons who have Special Needs.
