Product Demonstrator and Trainer

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Product Demonstrator and Trainer to join our team. As a Product Demonstrator and Trainer, you will be responsible for promoting products through engaging demonstrations and instructional sessions, training staff members and customers on product specifications, and conducting distributor and end-user training/demos.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Promote products through interactive demonstrations and instruction
  • Train SDB Staff members and Retail Staff Members/Customers on product features and capabilities
  • Conduct distributor and end-user training/demos at SBD Field Days, Training in store, End User's sites and at major trade events
  • Maintain a range of clean and workable power tools, accessories and materials for demonstrations and training
  • Provide in-store support including liaising with customers, merchandising and product demonstration
Requirements:
  • Strong technical expertise gained through working as a Tradie, in retail hardware, a building/construction related course or through a passion in DIY projects
  • Confidence and clear communication skills to present product initiatives to end users
  • Ideal experience in product training to either internal or external parties
  • Preferably experience working in a customer service role within a hardware environment or similar
