They work one-on-one with clients in their homes and communities to support them to live as independently as possible.

Key responsibilities include supporting clients to improve their confidence accessing the community, engaging in activities that help them achieve their goals, and providing transport to and from activities.

About You
  • Must possess clear and effective communication skills, enabling open dialogue with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Demonstrate computer literacy and accuracy in record management, ensuring seamless coordination with team members.
  • Experience working in a team environment is essential for success in this role.
  • Exhibit an ability to problem solve creatively, adapting to changing client needs.
  • Be able to follow policies and procedures at all times, upholding high standards of professionalism.
  • Be able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals, fostering inclusive relationships.
Requirements
  • A current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence is necessary for transporting clients.
  • A registered, roadworthy, and fully comprehensive vehicle is required for safe transportation.
  • A current nationally recognised First Aid and CPR certificate (or the ability to obtain) ensures your safety and the safety of others.
  • A Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain) is necessary for working with vulnerable populations.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain) verifies your suitability for working with clients receiving NDIS services.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You"
