About the JobAs a dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating front-end loaders and other quarry mobile plant equipment as required. This includes Haul Trucks, Excavators, and/or Front End Loaders, Dump Trucks.
You will also operate the crushing plant, perform basic maintenance and plant housekeeping, participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities, and contribute to safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate heavy equipment in a quarry environment
- Operate the crushing plant to produce high-quality materials
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular checks and repairs
- Participate in team-based problem-solving to improve processes and efficiency
- Support safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment
- A valid HR truck licence is advantageous but not essential
- Quarry experience is highly regarded, but not essential
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
- Availability to work Monday to Saturday
