Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our capital investment strategy and ensuring the commercial integrity of our major infrastructure programs.
The successful candidate will partner with General Managers and senior leadership across Capital Delivery to lead the strategic planning, governance, and execution of commercial frameworks that underpin our long-term infrastructure outcomes.
- Drive our multi-billion-dollar infrastructure investment strategy by crafting and executing commercial frameworks that deliver value-for-money outcomes and align with long-term strategic objectives.
- Lead commercial governance across all project phases—planning, design, and execution—by implementing robust systems that manage financial performance, contractual compliance, and commercial risk.
- Operate within a matrix delivery model, partnering with senior leaders and embedded commercial teams to integrate commercial functions and influence strategic decisions at the executive and board levels.
- Design and execute procurement frameworks and complex contract negotiations that optimise risk allocation, drive innovation, and ensure compliance with best-practice principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A degree in Business, Law or related engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Commercial Manager within the infrastructure or construction sectors.
- Minimum of 10-15 years' experience in the selection, preparation and execution of commercial agreements, with substantial experience in a major capital infrastructure delivery environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex and competing priorities across a dynamic, high-value portfolio.

This is an individual TFR contract with an attractive salary. The position is subject to a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements.
