Job Title: Automation Tester Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced test analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract. The role involves working in a hybrid environment, with a mix of office and remote work.

Job Description:

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality of digital products by building and maintaining automated testing frameworks. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software for customer-facing applications.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, covering both UI and API layers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and align on testing needs.
  • Manage and resolve bugs in a timely manner.
  • Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
  • Advise on modern testing practices and continuous integration strategies.
  • Review automation code and provide feedback to the team.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in testing roles within retail-focused environments.
  • Proficiency in using Playwright or similar automation tools for both UI and API testing.
  • A strong understanding of testing methodologies, software development lifecycles, and CI/CD principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a hybrid working setup.
