About the Role:

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking a highly skilled Shift Engineer to join our team at our luxury hotel in Sydney. As a Shift Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the hotel's facilities and ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completion of daily shift tasks to maintain the hotel's facilities and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintenance of a strong working relationship with contractors and suppliers to ensure reliable 24-hour emergency service.
  • Proper execution of work order systems and follow-up on completion of tasks.
  • Collaboration with the Rooms and Food & Beverage Divisions to maintain high levels of quality and functionality in guest rooms, Food & Beverage outlets, and public areas.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Shift Engineer in a large hotel setting, preferably with five-star quality standards.
  • Mechanical/Electrical experience is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with people at all levels.
  • Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and impeccable products.
  • Solid verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking ability.
