You will work closely with the communications team to develop and implement communication plans that promote the organisation's goals and values.

Main Responsibilities
  • Write and edit content for various internal and external purposes, including online platforms, speeches, media releases and publications.
  • Coordinate media liaison activities, preparing media releases and responding to media inquiries.
  • Provide visual communication services, including graphic design, photography and multimedia services.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to support Service Tasmania's operations.
  • Provide expert advice on communication strategies and plans, as well as procurement processes related to communications activities.
  • Establish partnerships and effective relationships across government agencies and with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control of external communications, including campaign materials, print and online publications, and websites.
Key Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification or professional background in journalism, communications, graphic design or marketing.
  • Experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs.
