Aged Care Trainer and Assessor Opportunity in Sydney

About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Aged Care Trainer and Assessor to join our team in Sydney.
This role involves delivering assigned programs using extensive knowledge, past experience, and examples guided by comprehensive learning materials.
You will provide support and feedback to ensure successful completion of programs, monitor, mark, and conduct student assessments, plan, review, and improve training and assessment, and participate in assessment validation, moderation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Program Delivery: Deliver assigned programs using extensive knowledge, past experience, and examples guided by comprehensive learning materials.
- Support and Feedback: Provide support and feedback to students to ensure successful completion of programs.
- Student Assessment: Monitor, mark, and conduct student assessments.
- Training and Assessment Improvement: Plan, review, and improve training and assessment.
- Assessment Validation and Moderation: Participate in assessment validation, moderation, and continuous improvement.
- Aged Care Sector Expertise: Strong passion for the aged care sector.
- Teaching Experience: Keen interest in teaching others about the aged care industry.
- Qualifications: Relevant vocational qualification in Aged Care at the Diploma or degree level. Preferably a Registered Nurse. Certificate IV in AS.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years industrial/professional experience.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment: TAE40116 or higher (older versions not acceptable).
- Language and Numeracy Skills: Language Literacy and Numeracy level appropriate to teach others.
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
