You will engage with diverse groups and individuals, sharing information about the Red Cross aged and community care services and celebrating the impact our volunteers have every day. This dynamic role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in face-to-face and online settings.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate empathy, cultural competence, and a willingness to learn and adapt. You will also be required to undertake a National Police Check and hold or apply for a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP), depending on your State/Territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with local communities, promoting the Red Cross aged and community care services
- Support new and existing volunteers through training and social events
- Collaborate with Red Cross staff and other stakeholders to build awareness of our services
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required
