About Our Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Technical Cadet. This role offers a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in the water industry, working alongside experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.

As a Technical Cadet, you will be responsible for providing technical advisory services for water, wastewater, and recycled water connections, extensions, fire services, and third-party alterations. You will also assist in providing surveying, drafting, and estimating services for both water, wastewater, and recycled infrastructure projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Completion of Year 12 SACE
• Ability to work autonomously towards a Diploma of Engineering – Technical with TAFE Queensland
• High level of computer literacy
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Positive attitude, and willingness to work within a team environment
• A current driver's licence
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar (desirable)
• White Card (Desirable)
