Job Description

As an Apprentice Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for examining detailed drawings to calculate material and equipment requirements, fixing and assembling metal fixtures, cutting, rolling, shaping, and bending materials, heating and treating metal materials, using MIG, submerged arc, oxy, and other welding equipment, and utilizing oxy/gas cutting equipment and friction saws.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, applicants should possess strong mathematical ability, have a strong attention to detail, be highly motivated with effective learning and communication skills, and have a positive attitude. They should also be able to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and maintain a Zero Harm safety record. Having a basic understanding of hand power tool operations, fault-finding, and problem-solving abilities are advantageous. A Cert II in Engineering Pathways is also considered beneficial.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum
