About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Local MR Driver to join our team at GKR Transport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a Medium Rigid vehicle to transport goods within local areas
  • Assist the operations team with loading and unloading goods, as well as strapping and securing cargo
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintained
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of local roads and traffic conditions
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the Transport and Logistics industry
  • Valid Medium Rigid (MR) licence and a minimum of 1 year of local driving experience
  • Synchro Gearbox experience is essential
  • Chain and Dog experience is essential
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
