Job Title: Family Support Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Family Support Therapist to join our team.

As a key member of our team, you will provide family therapy services using the FFT-CW model to families where a child's safety is at risk.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with families to identify and address issues that may lead to the removal of their children from their care.

This is a part-time opportunity based in Queanbeyan, NSW, working within our Children, Youth and Families Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide family therapy services using the FFT-CW model to families at risk.
  • Work collaboratively with families to identify and address issues that may lead to child protection intervention.
  • Develop and implement individualized family plans to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Social Work or Psychology/Aboriginal Health Worker/Community Welfare Worker or Master of Counselling.
  • Post Graduate training in relevant clinical practice, family therapy, and systemic thinking is preferred.
  • Clinical experience working with families/adolescents is preferred.

  • Valid and current Driver's Licence;
