Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate professional to drive the energy, engagement, and participation of residents in social, recreational, and cultural activities. As the Lifestyle Coordinator, you will lead mental health and wellbeing programs that empower residents' choices and independence.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent qualification, Diversional Therapy Degree (highly desirable), Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable), and previous experience within an aged care setting. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Work Health and Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and lead activities that meet social and recreational needs while promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.
  • Assess and document the effectiveness of programs, tracking residents' progress and adapting activities as needed.
  • Lead mental health and wellbeing programs that empower residents' choices and independence.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent qualification.
  • Diversional Therapy Degree (highly desirable).
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable).
  • Previous experience within an aged care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and confidence with digital devices.
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety.
